Batman #369 - Don Newton art

Batman #369
Batman v1 #369, 1984 - Responding to a call from Alfred, the Batman travels to Montreal where the assassin Deadshot makes a surprise reappearance. Despite the foreign locale, Don Newton does little to distinguish it from any other city. His drawings and layouts are also standard fare, with few risks artistically. Compounding it further, Alfredo Alcala's inks dominate the finished product, diminishing any semblance of Newton's style. Other artists in this copper age comic include cover illustrators Ed Hannigan and Dick Giordano. This is 24 of 32 Batman issues by Newton.
