True Love Pictorial v1 #6, 1953 - With her husband moved out and seeking a divorce, Eve must conceal the fact from her nosy visiting cousin. This despondent tale begins with the husband asking for an end to his marriage. Despite the tone, the artwork is elegantly drawn by Matt Baker. Varying narrative text boxes supplement the visuals to help soften the layout. Several character faces seem inconsistent in style, suggesting someone else inked the pencils. The last three panels look even more uncertain. Baker does his usual fine job on the cover. Other artists in this golden age romance comic include Ric Estrada.
