Kid Colt Outlaw #60 - Al Williamson art

Kid Colt Outlaw v1 #60, 1956 - The town sheriff promises to look over a dying man's no-good son. Upon hearing about the pledge, the young troublemaker proceeds to take advantage. One can barely discern Al Williamson's pencils in this brief story. Gray Morrow's inks are poorly executed, failing to add depth and definition. The page layouts are mediocre and far below Williamson's usual standards. Other artists in this issue include Jack Keller and Joe Maneely. This is number 5 of 8 Kid Colt Outlaw issues with Williamson art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Williamson or Kid Colt Outlaw issues. See also this blog's Al Williamson checklist.
