Lovers v1 #25, 1949 - A woman's beautiful roommate seems to attract all the attention, regardless of the place or circumstances. Joe Kubert strictly adheres to the same six panel grid on every page. His drawings are similarly repetitive. Although he breaks up the monotony with an occasional circular frame (see interior page below), the overall effort is lacking. Other artists in this golden age romance comic include Bob Powell, Christopher Rule and John Buscema. This is 1 of 2 Lovers issues by Kubert.
