Despite the chaos, the layout is well managed and competently painted. In the midst of battle, Ka-Zar is unaware of the foreground woman, also in the path of danger. Among the black and white stories inside, "Fangs of the Black Orchid" is an Al Williamson reprint from Jann of the Jungle #16. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include John Buscema and Tony Dezuniga. This is 3 of 5 Savage Tales issues by Adams.
