Marvel Super Special v1 #22 featuring Blade Runner, 1982 - In this official adaptation of the movie Blade Runner, Al Williamson takes on this ambitious project with gusto. The artist does a superlative job with the actors' likenesses, in particular Harrison Ford. Williamson's drawings are crisp and detailed throughout, reinforced by Carlos Garzon's streamlined inking. The center spread, depicting a panoramic view of a futuristic city, is strikingly similar to a scene in the film. Additionally, Jim Steranko provides a bold multi-layered design for the cover. This is 2 of 3 Marvel Super Special issues by Williamson and 1 of 1 Marvel Super Special issues by Steranko. /// key Specialty issue (movie)- - - - - - - - - -
