Haunt of Fear v2 #4 |
Haunt of Fear v2 #4, 1950 - In one of
Wally Wood's earliest works, a starving artist commits murder and finds himself unable to stop painting. His mildly gruesome scenes demonstrate an emerging style not incompatible with the horror genre. Wood's drawing skills are primitive but satisfactory. His pacing and layouts, however, struggle for clarity and cohesion. Other artists in this golden age comic include Graham Ingels, Jack Kamen and Jack Davis. Cover by Al Feldstein. This is 3 of 5
