Thor v1 #344, 1984 - Thor appears only in cameo as this issue centers around his fellow Asgardian, Balder the Brave. Tasked with bringing a message to Loki, Balder must survive deadly obstacles along the way. Walt Simonson's cover employs a radial layout with a color palette that emphasizes the central character. It's a little too loosely rendered for my tastes, but the artist's interior art generally meets expectations. This is number 19 of 41 Thor issues with Simonson art and/or covers.
