Prison Riot v1 #1, 1952 - Although this one-shot issue debuted during the height of the crime comics fad, the content is fairly tame compared to similar titles. This issue does showcase a fine cover and inside front by the talented E. R. Kinstler. Joe Kubert supplies two small illustrations, one for each single page text story interspersed between main features. The diminutive panels still contain plenty of detail, enough to recognize and appreciate the artist's skillfulness.
