Authentic Police Cases v1 #11, 1951 - A female bank robber seems dominantly in command on this straightforward Matt Baker cover. Inside, the artist contributes two stories, one about a Midwestern city controlled by a crime boss and the other about a gang of thieves in bulletproof vests. These efforts are capably drawn and composed, starting with bold full page splashes that establish tone and setting. The second tale's opening scene is the more spacious of the two, allowing for a wide shot of a robbery aftermath. Both stories were later reprinted in Authentic Police Cases #36.
