Russ Manning's drawings are more visually interesting than the usual western fare (see interior page below). On the bottom of page 3, the artist skillfully combines three scenes in a single panel: the arrival of Wyatt and his deputy, the aftermath of failed getaway and the thief's horse run amok. In a separate Manning story, a salesman plots to steal his company's money. Some panels are more detailed than others, but the stagecoach robbery scenes on pages 8-9 are notable for their depth and composition. Photo cover. This is 8 of 13
