Tarzan of the Apes v1 #163, 1967 - When Nazis encroach upon his territory, Tarzan lends aid to his fellow Englishmen in Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan the Untamed. Past the cover' machine-gun toting lord of the jungle, Russ Manning does a typically splendid job with the interiors. Bi-planes, weapons and uniforms of that era appear very convincing. Manning's own version of the cover scene appears on page 11. Other artists in this silver age adventure comic include Tom Massey. Cover by George Wilson. This is 124 of 133 Tarzan issues by Manning.
