Tarzan v1 #91, 1957 - Nearing Dan-El's home of Aba-Zulu, a band of exiled witch doctors openly attack the Brothers of the Spear. An enraged water buffalo unexpectedly evens the odds. Though faithfully drawn, Russ Manning's figures are a tad stiff. The artist's landscapes are still better than most. His most exciting moments in this brief story occur when a water buffalo runs amok (see interior page below). This issue also includes artwork by Jesse Marsh on the main Tarzan feature.
