Magnus Robot Fighter #21 - Russ Manning art

Magnus Robot Fighter v1 #21, 1968 - Commanded by a mysterious voice, Xykol and Derkaiser combine technology and black magic to take over North Am. Only Magnus, aided by Native American spells, can stop their conquest. Themes of sorcery and the supernatural allow for many fantastical images. Russ Manning handles each splendidly, from his bird-like transformation on page 10 to his gargantuan-sized enlargement (see interior page below). Additionally, the artist's back up tale for The Aliens is both colorful and complex. This story was later reprinted in Magnus Robot Fighter #33. This is number 21 of 21 Magnus Robot Fighter issues with Manning art and/or covers (not including reprints).
