Our Army At War v1 #202 featuring Sgt. Rock, 1968 - DC often used sensationalized covers during the 1960s, including this one that proclaims the "death" of Sgt. Rock. Regardless,
Joe Kubert's design is bold and compelling. Inside, the same GI grave marker is surrounded by various Easy Company characters. Rock is absent throughout most of the story, but his face is superimposed on several scenes and in different renditions. Kubert's approach unquestionably adds greater visual interest overall. "Battle Album"was later reprinted in
Our Army At War #275. Other artists in this silver age comic include Russ Heath. This is 137 of 236
