I just discovered this blog and it is a real treasure! The opening splash for Strange Tales #179 is the reason I first fell in love with comic art. I believe it is Starlin's finest moment. The rest of the issue is also graced by the artist at his peak. The level of care and detail is evident in every panel. There is an organic, flowing quality to this that seems to be missing from his current work. A real gem...
