Our Fighting Forces #153 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Jack Kirby
Our Fighting Forces v1 #153 featuring the Losers, 1974 - An army private realizes his dream when he's asked to pilot an ultimate weapon straight out of science fiction. Jack Kirby's story art begins with capable renditions of Adoph Hitler and Heinrich Himmler, followed by a large panel of a Nazi super-cannon. Most of Kirby's pages meet or exceed expectations, including the splash of the pensive Losers (page 6) and the panels featuring Private "Rocketship" Rumpkin. Rounding out the book are two pages of WWII insignias and badges, both of which outshine the simplistic cover. This is 3 of 12 Our Fighting Forces issues by Kirby. /// Kirby gallery
