Neal Adams
Brave and the Bold v1 #82, 1969 - Is Aquaman working on the wrong side of the law? His sudden arrival in Gotham City, followed by suspicious behavior, soon draws the Batman's attention. The urban setting, with its well-dressed populace and towering buildings, is deftly illustrated by Neal Adams. Although the first several pages are exemplary, the underwater scenes toward the story's end are the most visually engaging (see interior page below). Despite some odd coloration, the artist's skill and enthusiasm remain undiminished. This silver age story was later reprinted in Best of Brave and the Bold #3. This is 6 of 17 Brave and the Bold issues by Adams.
