Alien Worlds #1 - non-attributed Al Williamson art, non-attributed Nestor Redondo art + 1st issue

Alien Worlds #1
Alien Worlds v1 #1, 1982 Al Williamson, a master of the science fiction genre, draws a story about a man who travels light years to meet his designated mate. The characters, spacecraft and otherworldly settings are rendered in his reliably contemporary style. Nestor Redondo's tale about a traditional boarding school for boys has a futuristic twist. Given the artist's pleasant style, his violent depictions are quite jarring. This first issue is among the publisher's earliest. Other artists in this copper age comic include Tim Conrad and Val Mayerick. Cover by Joe Chiodo. This is 1 of 1 Alien Worlds issues by Redondo and 1 of 2 Alien Worlds issues by Williamson. /// key 1st issue
