Ibis the Invincible v1 #1, 1943 - An evil Pharaoh conjures up demons to conquer the country and place them under his tyrannical rule. With the help of the mystical ibistick, an Egyptian prince frees his people from slavery. When his beloved Princess Taia is cursed with 4,000 years of sleep, he joins her in a mummified state. When they awaken in the modern world, Ibis vows to fight evil and injustice.
