Strange Tales #132 - Jack Kirby art & cover, Steve Ditko art

Jack Kirby
Strange Tales v1 #132, 1965 - Returning to his sanctum in New York City, Doctor Strange triggers a mystic alarm revealing his whereabouts. Baron Mordo attacks with the powers given to him by Dormammu, putting the hero on the defensive. While Jack Kirby's cover appears more rushed, Steve Ditko's story art shows the precision of a craftsman. The fight scenes are carefully choreographed. On the last page, a single large panel depicts Mordo's apparent triumph. Other artists in this silver age comic include Bob Powell and Mickey Demeo. This is 63 of 72 Strange Tales issues by Kirby and 68 of 82 Strange Tales issues by Ditko.
