Namor (the Sub-mariner) v1 #3, 1990 - At first seeking to dominate the captured Griffin, Namor sees an opportunity for the beast to lead him back to his masters. As before, John Byrne's writing and art are in perfect sync. A high point of the issue is a splash page, viewing the fictitious Roxxon skyscraper from above. Byrne's cover, although good, doesn't quite match the level of his interior pages. This is 3 of 25 Namor issues by Byrne.
