Western Roundup v1 #23, 1958 - An old prospector tries to secure a loan, just as a gang of thieves hold up the bank. Both he and his friend Dale Evans track them down to an abandoned mining town. Russ Manning's last issue on the series reveals a crisp, confident line throughout the story. His layouts are especially good, highlighted by the wide panoramic panels that occur on nearly every page.
