House of Secrets #68 |
House of Secrets v1 #66, 1963 - Barraged by ultra-violet rays, Eclipso takes a heroic turn and vanquishes a worm-like threat from outer space. Alex Toth renders the tale admirably, using fine strokes to increase the sense of movement and spontaneity. This is most evident on the opening splash, vastly improving the same scene depicted on the cover. This story was later reprinted in
Detective Comics #441. Other artists in this silver age comic include Mort Meskin and George Roussos. This is 5 of 8
