Avengers #193 - Frank Miller cover

Frank Miller
Avengers v1 #193, 1980 - On a rampage through the city, Inferno is surrounded by an assemblage of heroes. Not one of Frank Miller's better covers, the layout lacks a clear hierarchy. Eight separate figures form a circular position drawing the eye toward the cable car rather than the villain. Miller's draftsmanship remains intact and Bob McCleod's inks add definition where needed. Other artists in this copper age comic include Sal Buscema and Dan Green. This is 1 of 1 Avengers issues by Miller.
