Frank Miller |
Daredevil v1 #188, 1982 - Poisoned and slowly dying, the Black Widow seeks out Daredevil's help in finding an antidote. Meanwhile, the hero has his own set of problems regarding his hyper-senses. Klaus Janson faithfully adheres to
Frank Miller's well conceived layouts. The issue's letters page, interestingly enough, reproduces the original sketch for the opening splash. Miller's cover is among his best on the series, using the spider metaphor to full effect. Portions of this copper age story were later reprinted in
Elektra Saga #4. This is 30 of 33
Daredevil issues by
Miller.
