Tales of the Mysterious Traveler v1 #12, 1959 - Undocumented in comic book guides, this issue contains two stories by Matt Baker. In the first, a young man wants to be rid of his strange levitation powers. The second tells of a truck driver tasked with leaving a mysterious package at the top of a mountain. Both tales bear characteristics of Baker's style, but unfortunately poor inking diminishes the art. Shadows are crudely applied on faces and figures. Details are few and far between. The overall result sadly suggests a lack of effort, skill or both. This is 1 of 2 Tales of the Mysterious Traveler issues by Baker.

So, Ditko cover?
There is a resemblance, but my sources say it's Rocco Mastroserio and I tend to agree.
Inking on Baker's work looks like Vince Colletta.
Baker was working for Colletta's studio on Charlton romance books, so it seems likely Vince did the inking.
You're correct. I wish I knew more about their collaborations and how it came to be. Why a prestige artist like Baker would do this escapes me.
