Warp #3 - Frank Brunner art & cover, Steve Ditko art

Frank Brunner
Warp v1 #3, 1983 - Frank Brunner draws one of his better covers for the series. Lord Chaos looks on while the hero comes to terms with his own death. Most of the interior story art, however, fails to capture the same level of craftsmanship. Bruce Patterson's inks offer only marginal improvement over the pencils. Steve Ditko finds better success with his Faceless Ones back-up tale. His portrait of Lugulbanda, a wizard-like character, is among his better efforts from the 1980s. This is number 3 of 9 Warp issues with Brunner art and/or covers and number 1 of 1 Warp issues with Ditko art and/or covers.
