Star Trek v2 #10 - Frank Miller cover

Star Trek v2 #10, 1981 - Spock is the featured character on this cover, surrounded by barbaric aliens. His body looks noticeably awkward, his torso facing one way and his lower half facing the other. Why is one foot beneath the arm of his vanquished foe and the other on top on the wound he presumably inflicted? Despite this, Frank Miller's layout and drawing skills are sound and create the desire effect. The large foreground spearheads not only suggest the hero is surrounded but adds depth to the picture plane. This is number 2 of 2 Star Trek covers by Miller. See today's posts or more Miller or Star Trek issues.
