Star Hunters v1 #1, 1977 - Continued from the space-borne team's first appearance in DC Super Stars #16. Don Newton draws this first edition before relinquishing the artistic chores in subsequent issues. Newton's layouts are solidly designed and his pencils add instant credibility. A small handful of pages are dampened by Bob Layton's passive inking, but not to the detriment of the entire story. This issue also includes cover artwork by Rich Buckler and Bob Layton.
