Forbidden Tales of Dark Mansion #6 - Jack Kirby art

Forbidden Tales of the Dark Mansion v1 #6, 1972 - Jack Kirby draws a supernatural tale that may have been originally intended for Spirit World magazine. Compared to other stories in the same issue, there is a noticeable change in line thickness and proportion (due to the magazine sized format of the original art). That aside, Kirby's art is more than capable. Large roomy panels are used frequently, and even the busiest scenes (see interior page below) are carefully composed. Other artists in this issue include Jose Delbo and Alan Weiss (cover). This is number 1 of 1 Dark Mansion issues with Kirby art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Kirby or Dark Mansion issues. See also this blog's Kirby checklist.
