T.h.u.n.d.e.r. Agents v1 #19, 1967 - Comprised of mostly reprints, this double sized issue opens with a new Dynamo story. Enemy spies create an army of androids, some of them disguised as Thunder Agents. The opening splash looks suspiciously like Dan Adkins, but the rest appears to be Wally Wood's handiwork. Panels are small and numerous, but distinctively drawn, especially the close-ups of character faces. The covers touts the absence of ads, but uses a montage of previous covers (including three by Wood). The inside front cover reprints a portrait of Dynamo from Thunder Agents #3 in black and white. Other artists in this silver age comic include George Tuska and Mike Sekowsky. This is 18 of 18 Thunder Agents issues by Wood. /// Wood gallery

Dan Adkins pencilled much of the Wood THUNDER AGENTS work, which, as you noted, was especially evident in this issue. Adkins once told me that he had hoped to ink this issue himself, so the pencils were tighter than normal.
