Thunder Agents v1 #3 tower silver age 1960s comic book cover art by Wally Wood
Wally Wood
T.h.u.n.d.e.r. Agents v1 #3, 1965 - In the first of four Wally Wood stories, Dynamo must stop an invasion of subterraneans from destroying the Capitol building. The opening splash is noticeably less impactful than usual, but Wood compensates with added detail in some panels (see interior page below). His cover and three remaining tales are dependably drawn and largely meet expectations. Highlighting the issue is a series of full page portraits of the various Thunder Agents. Wood seems to take extra care in each detailed rendering and composition. Two of the stories below have been reprinted in Thunder Agents #20. Other artists in this silver age comic include Mike Sekowsky. This is 3 of 18 Thunder Agents issues by Wood. /// Wood gallery / original page
