Tarzan of the Apes #172, 1967 - The Kingdom of Opar is overtaken by gorilla-men in part one of this story. Tarzan aids Queen La in regaining her throne. There are numerous exemplary scenes, including vast cliffs and a marauding lion. Manning's opening panel of Tarzan and his family is one of his best moments on the series.
