Hot Wheels #6 - Neal Adams art & cover

Hot Wheels v1 #6, 1971 - A young boy seeks the aid of Jack Wheeler, revealing himself as the prince of a small European nation. Neal Adams steps in to draw the last issue of this series. More realistic in approach than his predecessor, the artist nonetheless keeps to the established character designs. Adams' two-page spread of an overturning car and subsequent chase scenes are exciting and tense. Regardless (and perhaps due to the holiday theme), his pencils are approachable as well. Other artists in this issue include Ric Estrada and Dick Giordano. This is number 2 of 2 Hot Wheels issues with Adams art and/or covers.
