Amazing Spider-Man #190 - John Byrne art

Amazing Spider-Man #190
Amazing Spider-Man v1 #190, 1979 - Newly transformed into the Man-wolf, John Jameson captures his publisher father and holds him atop the Brooklyn Bridge. Spider-man intervenes, unaware the creature is under the mind control of another. John Byrne's second issue is as non-eventful as the first. As before, Jim Mooney's inking overpowers the pencils instead of enhancing them. Sadly, only a small handful of panels allow Byrne to come to the fore. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Keith Pollard and Al Milgrom. This is 2 of 3 Amazing Spider-Man issues by Byrne
