Atom and Hawkman v1 #40, 1969 - Despite what's being portrayed on this colorful cover, the title characters appear independently in their own separate stories. Joe Kubert is tasked with the Hawkman tale, involving a man who uncontrollably teleports from danger. Kubert's well-honed layouts are largely intact, but his pencils lose some of their spontaneity due to the inks of Murphy Anderson.
