Superboy #160 - Wally Wood art, Neal Adams cover

Neal Adams
Superboy v1 #160, 1969 - When a beautiful Egyptian student arrives in Smallville, a sequence of events culminate in Superboy accidentally taking a human life. The pencils benefit from the dependable inks of Wally Wood, whose enhancements continue. The high point is Neal Adams' excellent cover. Superboy collapses on the moon, racked with the guilt of his actions. The artist's realism and fine delineations heighten the severity of the theme. This is number 7 of 8 Superboy issues with Wood art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Adams, Wood or Superboy issues.
