Superboy #159 - Wally Wood art, Neal Adams cover

Neal Adams
Superboy v1 #159, 1969 - When his robot duplicates go on a global rampage, Superboy himself is blamed and targeted by all worldwide governments. Neal Adams' cover is indisputably eye-catching, but only literally translates a metaphor mentioned inside. Wally Wood continues to supply enhancements to the original pencils. Later pages are more visually exciting, leading up to a surprise villain at the climax. This is number 6 of 8 Superboy issues with Wood art and/or covers See today's posts or more Adams, Wood or Superboy issues.
