Two-Gun Kid #51 |
Two-Gun Kid v1 #51, 1959 - An ex-convict seeks revenge on a judge in this old western tale.
Al Williamson's opening page depicts the criminal's furor at the judges ruling, his body struggling against the two bailiffs. The artist's style contemporary gives the story a cinematic look, greatly contrasting against other genre artwork of the era. John Severin contributes a tensely composed cover as well. This story was later reprinted in
Mighty Marvel Western #37. Other artists in this golden age western comic include John Severin. Cover by Severin. This is 3 of 3
