Neal Adams
Adventures of Bob Hope v1 #108, 1967 - Bob Hope's nephew Tad (also known as Super-Hip) takes on a disguise and infiltrates a biker gang. Neal Adams once again combines real and cartoon characters within the same environments (see interior page below). Given the genre and silliness of the stories, the inconsistency seems barely apparent. Generally, the illustrations are dependably entertaining. The main biker figure on the cover is closest to Adams' usual style, menacing yet humorously exagerrated. Note the op art-inspired texture in the background, which seems to increase the tension.  This is 3 of 4 Adventures of Bob Hope issues by Adams.
