7.  Personal Love #24, 1953 - A young woman in the WACs must choose between two suitors: a young lieutenant or an older colonel who happens to be her boss. Frank Frazetta's first effort on this series is exceptional. His linework is as sensitive as it is skillful. Some panels are more detailed than others, making significant contributions to the settings. The Italian restaurant where the young couple dines is meticulously drawn (see interior page below), among other scenes. Frazetta would soon prove himself a master of the romance genre. The photo cover features actors Elliott Reid and Jeanne Crain. Other artists in this golden age romance comic include Mike Roy and Bill Everett.
