Secrets of Sinister House #11 - Alex Nino art

Secrets of Sinister House v1 #11, 1973 - Bedlam, the English lunatic asylum which gave birth to the term, is the setting for this Alex Nino work. His opening splash is comprised of pure chaotic linework, mimicking the insanity and despair of the inhabitants. Subsequent pages use the dark shapes and shadows more indicative of his style (see interior page below). Other artists in this issue include Ruben Yandoc, Bill Draut, Sergio Aragones, Michael Kaluta and Nick Cardy (cover). This is number 2 of 4 Secrets of Sinister House issues with Nino art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Nino or Secrets of Sinister House issues. See also this blog's Nino checklist.
