Ghosts #37 - Alex Nino art

Ghosts #37
Ghosts v1 #37, 1975 - A pair of scavengers, looking for western relics to sell to tourists, are suddenly trapped in a abandoned silver mine. Alex Nino's art is drawn with a rough edge that seems appropriate to the mostly underground setting. The collapse of the mineshaft is especially eye-catching (see interior page below), with its finely delineated rocks and debris. Nino's harshly graphic approach, ill-suited for some tales, seems to be effective here. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Fred Carrillo and Luis Domingez. This is 2 of 3 Ghosts issues by Nino. /// Nino gallery
