Ghosts #37 - Alex Nino art

Ghosts v1 #37, 1975 - A pair of scavengers, looking for western relics to sell to tourists,  are suddenly trapped in a abandoned silver mine. Alex Nino's art is drawn with a rough edge that seems appropriate to the mostly underground setting. The collapse of the mineshaft is especially eye-catching (see interior page above), with its finely delineated rocks and debris. Nino's harshly graphic approach, ill-suited for some tales, seems to be effective here. Other artists in this issue include Fred Carrillo and Luis Domingez. This is number 2 of 4 Ghosts issues with Nino art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Nino or Ghosts issues. See also this blog's Alex Nino checklist.
