Our Fighting Forces #155 - Jack Kirby art & cover

 Jack Kirby
Our Fighting Forces v1 #155 featuring the Losers, 1975 - The badlands of Yugoslavia form the backdrop for this tale, as the Losers meet up with the local resistance fighters. Only a single splash page resides in this Jack Kirby tale, yet it perfectly conveys the Nazi's threatening presence. Explosions and gunfire permeate the second half of the book, culminating in the destruction of a railroad crossing (see interior page below). With the exception of the hurried cover layout, Kirby's drawings contain a beautiful, almost abstract quality. This is number 5 of 12 Our Fighting Forces issues with Kirby art and/or covers.
