Korak Son of Tarzan #4 - Russ Manning art

Korak Son of Tarzan v1 #4, 1964 - After a nurse's capture by a witch doctor, Korak tracks them down to a hideaway within a narrow gorge. Russ Manning's first tale just meets expectations, but his second showcases his brilliant linework. After befreinding a caveman from the lost land of Paul-Ul-Don, Korak helps a wooly mammoth navigate through unfamiliar waters (see interior page below). Full of movement and direction, Manning's artwork elicits excitement without hampering storytelling. This is number 4 of 12 Korak issues with Manning art and/or covers.
