Russ Manning's terrific drawings. His vast African landscapes soon give way to cavernous spaces, including the revelation of a giant vulture fed by human sacrifice. The story's climax (seen on the painted cover) is intensely captured by an oversized panel on page 14. The second tale is nearly as good, pitting Korak against a tribe of elephant thieves.
