Secret Society of Super-Villains v2 #1, 1976 - Captain Comet returns to his home planet after two decades. Witnessing a battle between Green Lantern and two villains, he intervenes and mistakenly chooses the wrong side. Afterwards, Gorilla Grodd and Hi-Jack bring him to their headquarters and induct him into their secret society. This story, written by Gerry Conway and David Kraft and drawn by Pablo Marcos and Bob Smith, recounts Captain Comet's origin from Strange Adventures #9. Cover by Dick Giordano and Terry Austin.
