H. R. Pufnstuf v1 #1, 1970 - Pursued by a witch who covets his magic talking flute, a boy named Jimmy shipwrecks on the uncharted Living Island. Various anthropomorphic animals come to his aid, including a dragon that bears the name of this series. Did I mention their main antagonist is a witch? This first issue came out nearly a full year after the Saturday morning television show. This Don R. Christensen story was drawn by Roger Armstrong.
