Laugh Comics #24 |
Laugh Comics v1 #24, 1947 - In a rare contribution to Archie Comics, Joe Simon and Jack Kirby introduce Pipsy, an ambitious high schooler who starts a business solving other people's problems. Though not as action-packed and frenetic as his other works, Kirby still shows a high level of craft and composition. The inking is straightforward and sparse, matching the lighter tone of the rest of the book. Other artists in this issue includes Al Fagaly and Bill Woggon. Cover by Fagaly. This is 1 of 1 Laugh Comics issues by Kirby.
